Our Story
A Community that Connects the Dots
Conceptualized by Renée Salewski and realized in collaboration with Bryanna Cuthill, The Dot exists to give the musical theatre community what it's been missing: a home.
Founder/Co-Artistic Producer Renée Salewski was recently asked, "How do you describe yourself? Actor, singer, director, playwright/librettist, voice teacher, role coach, clinician, mentor, consultant, artistic producer?".
Her answer? She would say that those are all things she does; sometimes on the same day! If she were to describe herself though, she would say that she is a person who is passionate about coffee, the healing power of puppy cuddles, and creating / supporting artistic endeavours that optimise the human condition.

Co-Artistic Producer Bryanna Cuthill is an Afro-Latina performer, producer, writer, and proud Canadian who is based out of York City. Ask her to describe herself and she'll tell you: violinist at three, pianist at five, theatre kid by seven (blame The Sound of Music), and she hasn't stopped singing since.
If you really want to know her though, she's a person who is passionate about historical fiction, a good kitchen mess, petting every dog she meets, and building spaces where artists get to take up room.
