Every show needs a crew, and ours spans borders and seas, bringing together a range of skills and perspectives in a space built on inclusivity. Together, we uphold the values that ground The Dot, doing the behind-the-scenes work that fosters a true community of collaboration and connection.
Renée Salewski works across multiple disciplines in the performing arts, including acting, singing, directing, playwriting and libretto writing, voice teaching, role coaching, clinical work, mentorship, consulting, and artistic producing.
Her artistic adventures have taken her all over Europe, Canada, Korea, Central Asia, and the UK with stints in London's West and off West- Ends. Renée has had many standout experiences as a multi-hyphenate artist over the years; whether traipsing about England and Scotland with English Touring Opera for several seasons (company principal, swing, teaching artist), tripping hither and thither with the D'Oyly Carte (Savoy Theatre), swanning over her beloved at The Arcola Theatre (Marsinah in Kismet), guiding drummers toward their inner actor (Noise Ensemble, Edinburgh Fringe/International Tour), teaching up a storm in the voice department Canterbury Christ Church University, or performing with LiveCannon in Risk: A Climate Cabaret (Toronto and NYC). She has designed and directed productions of operas and musicals both in Canada and in the UK for companies and venues including: NitroVox, Opera Revue, Peckham Theatre, Cosa Canada, Grand River Opera, Singer's Theatre, Cultureland Opera Collective, Canadian Opera Company (Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre). Renée also has the honour of teaching voice and acting through song to a roster of passionate performers of all ages and stages online and in person.

Bryanna Cuthill is an Afro-Latina performer, producer, and writer, and a proud Canadian currently living in New York City.
Born in Red Deer, Alberta, she started playing violin at three, piano at five, and caught the theatre bug at seven after seeing The Sound of Music. She trained formally at Baldwin Wallace University's Music Theatre program in Cleveland, Ohio, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre.
Bryanna has performed at venues including the Kings Theatre in Edinburgh, Carnegie Hall in New York City, Blossom Music Center in Cleveland, regional theatres from Vermont to Illinois, and stages across her hometown of Calgary and her second home, Kitchener-Waterloo. Favourite credits include Judy (9 to 5), Sara Crewe (A Little Princess), Jeanie (HAIR), Elsa (The Sound of Music), Maria (West Side Story), Ti Moune (Once on This Island), and Ember ([HOLO]), a role she originated. Bryanna made her off-Broadway producing and performance debut with her solo show The Right Regrets, a musical review on regret from the perspective of a 20-something, which she continues to develop. After graduating and moving to New York City, she has hosted concerts at 54 Below, The Green Room 42, Chelsea Table & Stage and now, just two years post-grad, holds multiple off-Broadway producing credits. She is Associate Producer at Obie Award-winning company The Sol Project, working across artistic producing, new work festivals, and readings and workshops alongside playwrights and performers including Monet Hurst-Mendoza, Chris Gabo, Cusi Cram, Anthony Ramos, and Kara Young. She is also the Manger of Development, Marketing & Community Engagement at Colt Coeur. Bryanna's parents instilled in her a curiosity and resilience that grew into an entrepreneurial drive to make things happen, no matter the hurdle. In high school and college, she produced and performed in cabaret and benefit concerts to create performance opportunities for herself and her peers, including a concert benefiting Girl Up, a United Nations Foundation campaign, that raised enough to send 123 girls to school in Uganda. Bryanna is thrilled to be a part of The Dot, and is excited for it's growth and continued support to artists and Canadians abroad. When not in the theater you can find her reading (send her historical fiction & romance recs plz), whipping something up in the kitchen, asking to pet every dog she comes across, trying the newest viral restaurant, sweating it out at hot yoga, or texting back and forth with Renée about crazy ideas, memes, and the struggles of adulting.

Thera Barclay
Artistic Administrator
Thera Barclay is a soprano and in demand as an interpreter of operatic, recital, and concert repertoire, and has performed across Canada, Europe, and the United States. Performance highlights include Marquess (The First Wrinkle), Crete Woman/Ilia (Idomeneo), Gretel (Hansel and Gretel), Flora (The Turn of the Screw), Marie (La fille du régiment), Marzelline (Fidelio), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Mabel (The Pirates of Penzance), and Barbarina (The Marriage of Figaro). She holds an Artist Diploma from The Glenn Gould School, a Master of Music in Opera from The University of British Columbia, and an Honours Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Wilfrid Laurier University. Ms. Barclay has a vested interest in curly hair products, craft beer, and befriending neighbourhood cats.
Allie Weintruab

Allie Weintraub is a multi-disciplinary performer and mezzo-soprano with a fervent love for being on stage. Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Allie began studying classical voice, musical theatre, and dance at the age of 5 and has been devoted to the performing arts ever since. Allie has performed on renowned stages across North America, including 54 Below (NYC), The Off-Broadway Triad Theater (NYC), Club Cumming (NYC), St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts (Toronto, ON), and more. Allie also holds a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice Performance from Queen’s University. Select credits include; Fifi in A Waltz Dream (Toronto Operetta Theatre), Cinderella’s stepmother in Into the Woods and Mme Pernelle in Tartuffe (Opera NUOVA), St. Jimmy in American Idiot(Blue Canoe Productions), Lulu in Cabaret, and Rebecca in Going Under (Canadian premiere). Allie’s artistry in rooted in humanity, amplifying underrepresented voices, play and purpose. Allie runs after inspiration wherever it leads, blending and moving between genres and practices- whether it be combining opera and Burlesque in unique acts, or weaving her work as a psychotherapist into her performances. Allie currently resides in the beautiful, imitable NYC, where she continues to pursue her art. A proud Virgo sun, Allie can otherwise be found curating the most perfect snack rotation for any setting, enjoying and analyzing reality TV, or out on the dance floor surrounded by her friends and loved ones.
Aisla Wilson
Production Assistant
Ailsa Wilson is an actor, dramaturg and production assistant based in Toronto, Ontario. Some of her performance credits include Neagley (available September 16th on Amazon Prime), Myopia, I Hate You, Special Delivery, Click Bush Train Bug: A Fable For Twelve (Tarragon Theatre x TMU), Enormity, Girl and the Earthquake in Her Lungs (Nightwood Theatre x TMU), Harm’s Way, Opening Doors, Peter Fechter: 59 Minutes, Our Lady, The Dybbuk and Low Pay? Don’t Pay!. She has also worked as a showrunner’s assistant on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and a production assistant on Bloody Bachelorette Party, So You Think You’re a Werewolf, and Danica Eats. Her dramaturgical debut, On Guard for Thee, is premiering at the Halifax Fringe Festival this fall. She holds a BFA in Acting from the School of Performance at TMU. Ailsa is thrilled to be a part of The Dot and is constantly amazed by the breadth of talent and generosity she sees onstage!
Lucy Santilly
Creative and Digital Coordinator
Lucia Santilly is a Toronto-based digital marketer and communications professional with a background in the performing arts. With experience both onstage and behind the scenes, she brings a performer's eye to the work of building brands, growing audiences, and telling stories across digital media. Past work includes UNSUNG: The Accidental Villains of History (social media for Fringe run, 2026), The Morgan Project (personal brand and website development 2025), Education Arts Canada PigMania! (stage manager, 2025). Off the clock, you'll find her deep in a craft project, adding to her ever-growing sticker collection, whistling a tune. A devoted Muppet fan and lover of community-based initiatives, Lucia believes the best work (like the best shows) happens when people come together.
